Original oil painting of distant trees in a winter landscape.

This painting shows a wintry scene of a copse of trees in the distance with a bare bramble hedge in the foreground with only a few leaves felt on it. The scene was painted from a memory of a winter walk in Somerset. It’s painted with loose brushstrokes in an impressionistic style.

The size is 60 x 80cm (23.6 x 31.5), painted on stretched canvas. The piece will be sent with the canvas still on the stretcher, ready for display.

Painted with oil paints.

The sides of the canvas are neatened off and painted blue-grey to suit the artwork. Because the piece is finished in this way, there is no need to frame it (unless you want to!) and it can be displayed as-is.
