This painting shows a bouquet of yellow roses mixed with purple santini crysanthemums, all on a light green background. The dark green leaves and stems balance out the composition.
The painting is done on a deeply textured canvas, and this texture allows lower layers of paint to show through giving interest to the painting. The background has subtle variations of colour, and the dark underpainting shows through slightly, adding to the overall texture and effect.
The size is 30x42cm (11.8×16.5in; A3 size), painted on stretched canvas. The piece will be sent with the canvas still on the stretcher, ready for display.
It is painted with acrylic paints, which deliver beautiful vibrant colours and give a durable finish.
